“Remember that you are not a machine, but a beautiful soul navigating through the complexity of existence. I hope when you come home to yourself you find flowers lining your porch from the women you were before.” Humaning is…something. Sometimes I wonder how plants feel, not because I’m ungrateful for being a human but just out of curiosity. The human experience is full of so much- highs, lows, ups, downs, fullness and emptiness. The only thing that makes it easier is having the little voice at the back of your head that reminds you of the temporal nature of the dunya.
“I’ve come to learn that the best part about being a human is in accepting my weaknesses and knowing with my whole heart & soul, that all strength comes from Al Qawiy and Al Aziz.” Ya Allah
Beautiful! beautiful!! ya ukhti - chef’s kiss - Allahumma barek. Reading this was so wholesome and may Allah increase you in beneficial ‘ilm and continue to make you and your writing a medium through which he comforts his servants. Just wow 👌🏽🤍
despite being upset i lost my comment, ill still go ahead and re type :(
thank you for this much needed reminder. i was thinking of something very similar and had written something about it, in fact. the aayat in Surah Anbiya is so comforting and here's a lovely recitation by Abdullah Juhany حفظه الله
Mashallah Fatima. Thanks for writing it with your full heart out. We can see it, we can sense it, and we can relate it.
May Allah help us all and May we put special effort to revive our relation with Allah. Often times, Allah is our last resort, but in fact, He should be the first one we turn to in every situation (good or otherwise).
Sometimes, I wonder how Allah is managing the affairs of whole universe. From planets to galaxies, nothing is colliding with each other and everything is in perfect order.
Talking about mercy of Allah, I feel blessed to born a Muslim in a Muslim family and in a Muslim culture. His help is indeed near and He is listening and seeing all. May Allah help us to navigate the complexities of this life and hereafter.
