This is my second time reading this but somehow it hit even harder this time. Subhan’Allah Subhan’Allah. Jazakillahu khairan for writing and for sharing this. I’ll definitely read this again and again.
“I’ve come to learn that the best part about being a human is in accepting my weaknesses and knowing with my whole heart & soul, that all strength comes from Al Qawiy and Al Aziz.” Ya Allah
Beautiful! beautiful!! ya ukhti - chef’s kiss - Allahumma barek. Reading this was so wholesome and may Allah increase you in beneficial ‘ilm and continue to make you and your writing a medium through which he comforts his servants. Just wow 👌🏽🤍
despite being upset i lost my comment, ill still go ahead and re type :(
thank you for this much needed reminder. i was thinking of something very similar and had written something about it, in fact. the aayat in Surah Anbiya is so comforting and here's a lovely recitation by Abdullah Juhany حفظه الله
Sisters what is consistent with these aayat is that all the prophets Allah tells us about *turned to Him and called upon Him* and *He responded*.
What do we do when we find ourselves in times of hardship and trial?
Do we panic and let anxiety kick in?
Do we coil back and let depression embrace us?
Do we despair of Allah's Mercy and put Him as last in our list to turn to for aid?
It is very crucial for us to remember at all times that Allah should always come first in times of hardship and ease. We are most in need of Allah in times of hardship and most in need of gratitude in times of ease and hardship as well. Turn to Allah, ask for His forgiveness, remember His favors upon you and ask Him to lift your hardship and replace it with ease. We cannot afford to abandon Allah or put Him last in this dunya that we live in.
Turning to Allah[Qur'an] and holding onto the sunnah is the solution to all our problems.
How do we expect ease when we turn to everyone else but Allah?
Mashallah Fatima. Thanks for writing it with your full heart out. We can see it, we can sense it, and we can relate it.
May Allah help us all and May we put special effort to revive our relation with Allah. Often times, Allah is our last resort, but in fact, He should be the first one we turn to in every situation (good or otherwise).
Sometimes, I wonder how Allah is managing the affairs of whole universe. From planets to galaxies, nothing is colliding with each other and everything is in perfect order.
Talking about mercy of Allah, I feel blessed to born a Muslim in a Muslim family and in a Muslim culture. His help is indeed near and He is listening and seeing all. May Allah help us to navigate the complexities of this life and hereafter.
Jazakallah khairan! I was tempted to be less vulnerable but I pushed through Alhamdulillah. Truly Allah is as He has praised Himself. Amin to all the du’as you made. Thank you so much
